and oversees all instrumental music activities.  Rob studied conducting while pursuing a Doctoral degree in music performance at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, and has led ensembles at the professional, collegiate, amateur, and public school level. He was appointed music director of the Southwest Washington Symphony in 2013.  A French horn player by specialty, Rob performed on over 100 recording studio projects for TV, motion pictures and radio, as well as in regular concert performances with professional orchestras, before turning his full attention to conducting and music education.
